Gboard users

Two things I am trying to figure out in Gboard.

1) How can I change the in app shutter sound off? I have my camera shutter sound off but if I take a quick pic through the gboard app it still makes the shutter sound.

2)Has anyone notices that when posting on forums there are time where gboard puts a space before a period. For example:
I will type this:

Hello, it's going to be nice today. You want to come out and play?

But it will type out this way

Hello, it's going to be nice today . You want to come out and play?
