Feels crazy to be typing this but I thought I'd try the Gcam Go app today. Unlike the full GCAM it will work on all droids so if you have an exynos no problem, it is petty basic and only works on the main lens but is really easy to install.

I am still using my Pixel so have only had a quick play, but already I think I can see an improvement vs. the stock app. I'm sure this will not be the case in all lighting conditions but it really is an indictment on Samsung that a generic app can put out better results.

Thought I would share for those who are interested. Still think I am going to sell my S20+ but I thought I'd at least give it a look.

Hey Did you try Gcam go on your device what is the recommended settings?

I have gcam 7.3.018 working well on my S20 Ultra . Is this supposed to be better? Has any one used this? 20200422_132834.jpeg20200421_154410.jpeg

for this to truly be tested, the people with the Gcam app and stock would basically hav to take 2 pics, one with each app for comparison.

It might also be useful to mention the S20 model and Exynos or Snapdragon as the Exynos has received camera improvements in the last 3 out of 4 updates for the Ultra, SM-G988B, global model.
