i need some help here.. recently got a droid pro. but there is no google talk app on there. looked in the market and also couldn't be found. can anyone help me here?

it's the "talk" app, the little speech bubble you have pre-loaded on your phone. I had problems finding it too, don't worry.:-[

are you running a custom rom or something?
Did you get the phone used?

1) no, no roms. as far as i know there are none out for the droid pro. its rooted, if that makes any difference, but there were no changes made

2) the phone is used but it was factory reset before I got it.

if it was rooted they could have removed that app.

even with a factory reset? wouldn't the reset have restored all stock apps?

well if that was the case that it was removed and a factory reset doesn't restore it, then how would i get the app back? because it doesn't exist in the market

Someone would have to try and get the apk somehow.
I just rooted myself so I don't know how to get it yet.
If you wanted, you could always unroot your phone and see if that will bring it back.
