Gear Manager issues

Hello, I have a Motorola Droid Turbo 2 running Marshmallow. I have an issue using the gear manager with my Gear S2 (Dark Grey). Whever I start gear manager, It starts up just fine. But if I try to open any of the internal screens (like settings, notifications, apps) it flashes the screen and then goes back one screen back to the main screen. I have tried reinstalling the app, updating the watch, and even reformatting the watch so it would work. Anyone have any ideas?

Just checking, you've written Gear Manager in the title of the post. Are you using some 3rd party gear manager or are you using the official Samsung Gear app?

The official Samsung gear app. I believe it is called gear manager but I could be wrong.

the Turbo is listed as a compatible device on the Samsung website but strangely not the Turbo 2 even though spec-wise I'm sure it's capable. Might want to try chatting with Samsung support and see if they can help since it seems like some issue with the Samsung Gear app itself.
