Gear s2 3g

Can you advise if when either making or receiving a call directly on the watch....are you able to easily transfer it to a bluetooth device that is paired to the phone....say for example...you started a call on your watch while sitting on the couch and you want to know continue the call using a headset connected to your phone...I know the original Gear S had an option during the call to do this..

Yes, you can. There is a 3-dot icon and if you press it, you're given an option to send the call to a connected BT headset or your phone.

Under setting, choose "call". 2nd option is "outgoing number". You can choose either watch # or phones #.

I have the option, but it's greyed out - I appear to only be able to use the watch's number as the outgoing number. I have it paired with a Moto X Pure Edition, on T-Mobile.

I didn't have a Gear S, so I'm not sure. The app's title bar says Gear S2 tough.

I have the ATT Gear S2 3g and I am experiencing some issues. I previously owned the Gear S 3G and loved it. I have mine paired with the Blackberry Priv. I am not getting the text notifications from the phone at all. When you change to a 3rd party app, you get them, but the response comes from your watch phone number instead of the phone number as it should. Also, when you call from the phone, it diverts to the watch, it is easy to change back to the phone, but it is a nuisance if you are out in public. I never had any of these issues with the Gear S 3G, the calls should land where you call from, and text should come through and respond from the phone number. I called Samsung, reset, restarted, installed, uninstalled app. No fix. I am very disappointed. Does anyone have this same problem? Any fixes?

I have a T-Mobile Gear S2 3G and I have the same problems with text notifications not appearing on the watch and phone calls being initially answered by the watch (even if I am using my phone). The text notification can be addressed by using Textra (a 3rd party messaging app) without any issues for me. But I have not been able to fix the phone calls issue. In fact, even when I initiate a call from my phone, it will automatically be routed to the watch first. I didn't have these problems when my S2 3G was paired with Galaxy S6 Edge+, but my Nexus 6 and Xperia Z3v both have these issues. This is clearly a software issue. Despite Samsung's claim that the S2 3G works with non-Galaxy Android phones, they obviously have not fixed all the bugs.

I work on a CDMA network, a customer with a G2 recently came in from a GSM network and all of his contacts and incoming calls include the + sign. His watch seems unable either to dial a number with a + sign, or extract the + sign to dial without it. Is there an app for this? Some kind of interface app, that would automatically convert a GSM number into CDMA.....
