Gear S2 (non 3g) S voice not working

It appears that S Voice won't respond to any voice commands. I can't even get through the set up process, it's like the Mic is turned off. Is there a trick to getting it setup or activated? Any help is appreciated.

I'm actually having the exact same issue. Have you received any help or figured out a fix yet? This thing is driving me insane.

I had to factory reset mine yesterday and s voice works fine now.
