Gear S2 to get Android Wear

Any truth to this? A rep at Walmart told me the Samsung rep said the S2 is getting Android Wear mid March.

Such a shame the lack of apps available for the Samsung watches.

Seriously doubt it.
Might be confused with S2 getting iOS compatibility sometime this year.
