All the sudden today, I cant use my gear s2 to change songs on Pandora anymore.

My phone connects with my S2 and headset
My S2 connects with my phone but when I try to search a headset to connect it, it cant seem to find my headset.

Trying to figure out is it my watch or my headset thats not working right. They used to connect until today.

Also, is the S2 music player able to start the music player on the phone? I remember when I first got it, I was able to open the "Over the horizon" song on my phone through the watch, I may be remembering wrong. But now I cant trigger it on my watch to the phone. Nothing happens on the phone when I hit play on my watch and instead, it prompts me to connect to a BT headset. Might there be something wrong with the watch's BT headset band instead? Think there are 2 separate signal for devices and audio devices.

Samsung usually preloads "over the horizon" on their watches - are you sure you weren't just playing it on the watch before? On the Gear 2, I have "music player" and "media controller" as separate apps. Does the S2 have both of those? Music player plays local media on the watch, while media controller controls the phone (but does not start music if it's not playing).

Does your headset support multipoint (pairing with more than one device)? I have some that do and some that don't, so I have to re-pair if I want to switch devices.

Hope some of that helps...not an S2 owner, just following this forum out of interest.

I can't remember whether I was just playing on the watch before. I just vaguely remember hitting play on the watch and it would turn it on on my phone but it could be false memory.

The gear S2 stock music controller controls both the music player and pandora depending on which one I have playing. My headset supports both. I was doing it before and all the sudden today, it just stopped. I would have pandora on and playing through the headset. Before, what would happen is the music controller on the watch would should whatever I'm playing on pandora and I can adjust the volume and change tracks from it. Now I can and it only shows whatever stock music I have on my phone, which is "Over the horizon" since I didn't add songs to phone or watch.

I just purchased a Gear S2 and I can't get Pandora or Spotify on the device. Can anyone offer any assistance?
