Gear s3 frontier Facebook connection issues.

Hi guys.

I'm new here, so forgive me if this has been asked before. I own a gear s3 watch which I love. When I first got it I was able to read and respond to Facebook messages via the watch. Now I can't, it just gives me the option to view on the phone.
I've asked in a few Facebook groups. Some people say I should be able to, some say that function isn't available at all.
I had a web chat with someone from Samsung who claimed (not that convincingly) that tnt function isn't available..... I'm confused. I didn't dream this function.....
I've tried a myriad of settings, uninstalled, factory reset, all sorts.....any ideas guys?

Hey Adam,

I'm having the same problem. When I first got my gear s3, FB messages would appear and I could read them all...

But there was some sort of update somewhere to where now my only option is to "show on phone". Very frustrating because I get a lot of FB messages I'd rather see on watch than to pull phone out.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions to try? Apparently resetting the watch doesn't work, per OP... so I may as well not even bother doing that. I've double/triple checked my settings and notifications in the gear app...
