Gear S3 SMS vibrate notifications

Hi. Samsung Gear S3, Galaxy S8+. Trying to get the watch to vibrate with SMS, email, etc notifications. Cant get it to. It used to before latest updates. I have checked that SMS etc are setup for vibrate on the phone settings. I have also checked that the watch setting for "Vibrate with sound for calls & notifications" is ON.

Don't know what else to try. Any ideas?
