Gear Vr compatible screen protector

Are any glass screen protectors compatible with VR? Glass curve elite has bubbles after each use that get worse so I've resorted to an old zagg HD clear wet install made for s8+ but also compatible with 9+. It distorts the image a bit but atleast it works! I wish someone would make one with a notch where gear VR touches it on each end cause these plastic ones just aren't as good for multiple reasons.

I don't use the glass protectors (haven't found one that doesn't make the screen look lousy). The film protectors in Gear VR cause the smallest dust mote that got stuck on it during installation to appear in sharp relief. if I were to use the VR often I'd just take it off and go neckid.
