Gear VR registration/approval/shipping/arrival info & also problems.

i wear glasses.

may i ask if the GearVR can accommodate folks who wear glasses, or, do we have to take our glasses off first before putting on the GearVR?

How quickly did everyone get an email about the registration? I filled out the form 10 minutes ago and didn't get any sort of email acknowledgement that I did it.

I proceeded my paperwork and added a photo of the label and I was approved! I checked my status today and the label was vague.

Within a few minutes after registering through the app for me. In the e-mail, there will be a link to "check gift status". It will take a bit after that before your registration is "accepted" and in the system.

I was surprised when I checked mine a few minutes ago and saw it was accepted (not yet approved) and the IMEI and MAC address info was filled in since the app didn't ask for that info. Maybe it pulled the info from the phone during registration?

Mine still shows as "Processing Gift" but that is good with me.

Just after 24 hours of registering, I got my Gear VR confirmation e-mail.
Hope it really won't take 6-8 weeks but free is free.

Post up when you get your confirmation.

I didnt buy the bundle, registered via Samsung's website, got my approval email in less than 5 minutes.......

I have glasses as well and there's enough room to wear your glasses comfortably. It can take a few seconds to get them adjusted right though.

Received an email stating it has been shipped with. FedEx tracking number to be delivered Tuesday. That was fast.

I have the same screen as yours, but i didnt get a follow up email with tracking number and they haven't charged me yet (yes it was 99 bundle - 2x in fact since I got 2 phones).

Something interesting is the check mark says "Sent", but the wording says "processed" and not shipped.

Idk...

Well, check this out. Just happened to log in again and the status updated again! Definitely not 6-8 weeks.

I preordered on the 18th and got my phone today (yay), but I've never received any info about how/where to sign up to receive the Gear VR. How do you do that?

Mine says gift sent too, but it clearly hasn't been sent as I don't have a tracking number and FedEx doesn't show anything yet. We need to start a shipping thread for the bundles now. So, we can keep the hysteria going from all the carrier shipping threads.

I registered yesterday got an email today telling me they could not read the receipt I uploaded so I had to do it again. The interesting thing is they said I only got one more shot then I'm out of luck!
