Gestures or the buttons...?

I was having the same issue using Nova and fixed it by trading myself NOT to swipe from the bottom but only an 1/8th of inch above that by using Nova's gestures in combination with samsung's.
Yes the tab is still there but I just swipe right above it and get my intended action instead of SP always showing up.

I know that doesn't really help but that's my fix.

Are we saying the Note 9, with Pie OS has gestures?
I take it, this is by using the One UI, versus Nova?

Yes Note 9 has gestures on pie stock.
So does your s9.
