get around Knox to root

Can you get past Knox to root the GS3 with Jellybean 4.3 on it. I wished I had know about Knox before I upgraded back in December and I would not have upgraded at that time.
Can it be done and how easy is it to get past it, so that I can put another rom on the phone. I did see where someone said they used CF Auto root but then I saw someone else say that it did not work.

Once you update to 4.3 your at the mercy of Knox. If there is a way to root, I'm sure the risk of brick is very HIGH.

The short answer is yes, you can still root and Knox can be removed. However, you are locked into the official 4.3 MJB bootloader which cannot be downgraded. Hop on over to XDA Developers, AT&T Galaxy S3 section and have a good read. You can do what you want, just understand what you are doing before you try.
