Android Central Question

So I am using a Samsung Note 9 on Verizon with the latest version of Android 9.0 and all security updates.

I have already gone into my settings, display, navigation bar and set it to full screen gestures and disabled the hints. In most situations there is no sign of the buttons or where they should be.

When I open up full screen games however the buttons pop up in full force and squish the game to the side. Even worse it is not just when the games open, but EVERY time I minimize it or lock my screen and then go back in. So I am constantly required to swipe down then over and turn off the navigation bar in there again.

Is there any way to make it stop? I turned it off for a reason and it seems a bit dumb that it still keeps coming back.

I'd be willing to bet you that you need to contact the game designer. sounds like they have it hard wired to run the navigation bar and it's overriding the settings. at least, it's a good possibility.

Looks like you are right actually. I am not a big monile game player so I went and snagged a few just to test and none of the big popular games have this issue. All the ones I tested it with before are either fairly obscure or emulators. I will post on the forums and see if they fix it in the next version.
