Get rid of unused widgets?

Is there a way to get rid of widgets you know you won't be using so you don't have to scroll through them?
For example all of the different sizes of jorte calendar.

You have to root and delete the individual .apks from the /system/apps folder

In gingerbread, you could remove them... Unrooted, in some folder I can't remember where.

Yes, in GB they are removable. A friend of mine actually removed a few (including one by accident). Is the only way to get them back to reinstall the app.

Has to be a way to do it in ICS...
