Getting 6 hours SOT again..

Just installed ForceDoze this morning and it's looking like I'm going to get 6-6.5 hours screen on time (I'm at 65% and at 3 hours SOT). Lately I've been getting 3-4 hours SOT and I didn't have it installed for a while because I thought it didn't do much for battery. I think​ ForceDoze is really making a difference. I did recall getting amazing battery when I had it installed a while back. Battery life on the V20 is excellent! No root required just need to run a few basic commands on the computer using adb.

I also have greenify installed and occasionally manually hibernate apps when I remember to, as well as turn off wifi/data.

I'm gonna try this and we'll see if it works for me.
By the way, will this cause any harm on our phones?

My wife gets 6 hours min with no additional apps. Her big things are Facebook instagram and Web stuff.
Very few videos which probably the reason for good screen time.

No basically it just forces the phone to go into doze mode immediately when screen is off. Android nougat comes with doze mode but doesn't start automatically until after some time.

But why would doze help you get longer SOT? I go 5 hours straight. No shut off for doze to do anything

Yup just follow the instructions on there on how to install and enable it. Gotta download stuff on your PC including the phones USB driver, enable USB debugging on your phone, and enter some commands on adb. It's actually very easy and worth a try.
