Getting an error "Not on Registered Network" after recent software update.

Hi all, my first post here, I created an account here to see if any others are also having this problem with their S7. It's an unlocked GSM phone, formerly ATT&T if I remember correctly.

If I attempt to place calls they fail and I'm given a notification: "Not on Registered Network". I also assume that I cannot place nor receive text messages.

I've tried turning Airplane Mode off and on and the problem persists.

Welcome to Android Central! How did you do the system update? An AT&T-specific phone usually requires the phone to be on that network in order to get the official update. If you manually flashed some other firmware, it might be causing issues with how the phone connects to the network.
