I was getting very very mediocre battery life prior to this past week (16-22 hours and 2 hours screen time, or 4 hours screen time with 10-12 hours on). I couldn't figure out why this was the case and no matter what I tried whether it be disabling apps or downloading battery saver apps nothing really helped. Then I figured it might be my physical location causing my mobile signal to be weak even though the bar was full, that plus the wifi was weak too. I moved into a new place a week ago. Brand new wifi, new location, same usage of my phone.
All of a sudden my phone was lasting much much longer (almost 2 days!)and I didn't change a thing. So to those of you with less than optimal battery life this may be your issue too. The following is on medium brightness, gps turned on because I used Google maps for directions a few times, 45 minutes talk time, a lot of texting and fb. No battery saver app, no power saving mode, wifi on the entire time. Never closed any background apps.
