getting "Google Play Services are not supported by your device" Galaxy Tab-A

[Android Central Question]

Tried clearing cache and data - no luck. Re-installed Google Play Services from .apk (can't access play market) - also no luck.
Android 8.1.0 - latest available for the tab-a
Now at the point of resetting the tab to factory settings, but not sure it will help.
Any suggestions???

Welcome to Android Central! Why are you unable to access the Play Store? Are you in China or some other company where Google services are blocked?
