Hey all,
I tried searching for the solution to my problem but could not find it. Hopefully you all can help. I've had my Gear S3 for some time now. I was using it before with my Pixel 3 XL and what I found cool was that I was able to put the phone on Do Not Disturb mode but still get message notifications from my "starred" contacts (which I allowed under exceptions). Now I have a Samsung Note 10+. I reset everything on the watch and downloaded all the apps/plugins required onto my phone again. I did NOT transfer anything from my old phone to the new phone (aside from contacts and calendar entries). Everything was downloaded fresh. However, now with this new pairing, it seems that I cannot get the same functionality with the Note 10+. I DO get notifications when the phone does NOT have do not disturb enabled but when I DO have it enabled, I don't get ANY notifications at all (except for calendar reminders that have been downloaded to the phone). I checked all the permissions for Do Not Disturb and the same for the watch. I know the watch has its own Do Not disturb setting and I made sure that it doesn't get activated when the phone's is activated. Is there any possible explanation for this? Not sure if anyone else has experienced the same thing or has any ideas of what might be wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.
