Getting terrible battery life now

Now that I've got Angry Birds on my Epic. (Since I've been playing it a lot)

That's why #1 on my battery saver blog post is "Don't Play With It". Angry Birds will be the bane of many a battery ... Including mine.

The default battery gauge is very ... misleading. It will look like it's more charged when other "numerical" indicators indicate something lower (I've seen the battery gauge to look about half full when the phone is at 20-30%).

Are you talking about your LED indicator going blue when a numerical indicator says 78%?

I don't think I've had to recalibrate my battery readings (using Power Control Plus, which really needs to fix their 4G button so it works with the Epic).

so what other physics game do you recommend? This one seems pretty fun and well developed, havent seen much else....guess i have never looked either

nope not the one up top. I have a battery app. I've used battery Droid and also another one. all same readings. both the battery apps and the blue icon up top have been off. once I shut down and remove battery and put it back in and power on its all good. but quite annoying.

I wonder also if it can be caused by universal chargers that I've used.

my battery is not that bad. how much are you guys losing per hour?

mines at around 18 percent per hour - on lowest brightness.

i really dont think thats bad. so what are you guys getting?

I really don't have a per hour with screen on rating. A lot of my playing is done while I'm in stores waiting on someone who is shopping - and depending on where in the store/which store we are in, I'm getting a weak cell signal. So between those two things, I can lose quite a bit. 20% per hour sounds possible.
