Getting your replacement Nexus 7...

Hi All,
Got my 1st replacement device. It's a C8OK. The screen lifting on the new device is worse than the old one. I decided to return it for a refund. I really loved the jelly bean OS. The thing is I am tired of playing return game. If two in a row are bad it is bad. That's how I think about it. I have a bunch of Nexus 7 accessories to sell. A bear motion leather case, a nexus 7 original case and a car mount. Let me know if anybody is interested. I'll be looking for a better build device. Maybe burning 450$ for a toshiba excite is not bad after all. Or wait for the HTC..

Battery won't charge on my new Nexus :-\ google said they would replace it yesterday, but couldn't send me the link. Apparently the email/link system is down?! Guess I just have to wait. A follow up email got me this:

"Thanks for writing back to me. I received an update on the replacement
link issue and they are getting close to fixing it. They should be in
contact with you in the next few days with an update. Please be patient
and watch out for a email."​

Sounds like shenanigans to me.

Ok guys I actually just made this account to kinda post this.

I ordered a tablet from Google the 16gig, after receiving the tablet I was having screen separation issues. After removing the back case to tighten the screws I noticed the entire left side was missing screws. I have also had problems with the keyboard becoming unresponsive. I bought some replacement screws and tightened the screws and the problem still persisted so I contacted Google asking for a replacement and they refused me a replacement because I removed the back casing. After another attempt I got a replacement from another Google worker and I was charged the 250 waiting for the replacement now. Do you think they will give me trouble sending my old 1 back seeing its missing screws? I removed the screws I added that were missing and i'm afraid google is gonna give me some type of problem when I return my defective unit.

I just had one question. Did they send you a brand new one in its original box? I am waiting for my replacement and just wanted to know if that was the case.

Well I requested my replacement yesterday with the special link they sent me and received my tracking info today.
