Ghost Armor Carbon Fiber and Screen Protector Review

I don't think it is the cuts at all, I think it is a bad install! Would for sure take it back. If they want to argue with you show them photos of a good install.

Don't have the stores here in Houston, so installing my own sometime today.

Why do my cuts look so different from SirLance99's red cf? I am using the extended battery cover but they assured me that it would fit the same.

I installed mine myself. As you can see even with the extended battery it fits well.

There also should be no creases at all. I did when I installed it but, like I said, use a hair dryer to meld it to your phone and it will go away.

No offense, but that's not a good install.

She did a terrible job on the install but i dont thind the white over gunmetal is helping the look any. Good luck with the return, i would ask someone else to do the install or try it myself.

Hi Guys,

Question for everyone who got the ghost armor screen done. How long did you wait before you powered on your device? Just curious, my local booth told me I can power on mine right away. Needless to say I'm waiting for a few hours.

The white looks awesome. I plan on going to a kiosk soon and getting the skin in white. Question, a friend of mine has a iPhone and showed me something interesting. He had them install the clear full body armor first, then put the carbon fiber skin on after. So it has a bit more protection. The phone has a bit more of thickness but it seems like a good idea. Thoughts?

Installed mine yesterday (by the way mine came with 2 screen protectors), I was worried about installing the screen protector but that was the easiest part. I ended up with one bad spot on the armor but overall did a good job. I used the grey and I love that it is the same color as the phone, makes it harder to see where the carbon fiber stick on ends and the phone begins.

The screen protector still needs a day and a half to clear up, but I can already tell that it is going to be 10 times better then anything I have used before as far as oil and finger prints.

Now what I don't like. I was hoping the carbon fiber would have a little more grip to it, to me it is almost as slick as the phone without it. Also even though the carbon fiber stick on is thin I still don't like the feel of where it ends and the phone begins. The hard lines are very noticeable and it just doesn't feel that great. Going to give it time but I may take off the sides and just leave the battery cover sticker on just for the looks of it.

Installed my gun metal CF & screen protector myself. Came out amazing. One of the best Accessories I've ever used. Imo best screen protector out there

I get the same sensation when holding mine. Good idea about keeping just the battery cover. I'll probably give it a week before making any changes

Yeah I will give it a little time to see if I can get used to it.

Got mine redone in gunmetal and the guy at the cart said the original install was horrible. He did a much better job and I am now happy. Pics coming soon.

For those that have the screen protector on, how long did you wait before putting it in your pocket?

Also, is anyone using their Nexus with Ghost Armor in a case? Just wondering with the screen protector going all the way to the edge of the screen if my Verizon gel case will interfere with it? I hope not.

I waited two days, even though the girl at the kiosk in the mall told me I only needed to wait 24 hours. She didn't seem to be the sharpest tool in the shed, and I had read in a review somewhere that you should wait 48 hours to put it in your pocket. I didn't get the full armor, didn't see any point in putting something on the thin battery cover, but did the sides in clear and am very happy with it. Haven't tried it in a case yet.

Here's a question for those who already have Ghost Armor on their screens...How long until the vertical lines and "sparkly" look goes away?

I had mine put on yesterday around 3pm and now 28 hrs later, there are still bad vertical lines in it, as well as the "sparkly-ness" all over the screen. I REALLY hope this all clears up.

How do I know if the install was done properly? I guess wait 2 days, and then I'll know huh?

I think the guys installing mine did a really good job. I never really had any vertical lines showing.
