Left my phone at my desk at work. Had to go to a meeting. Finished my meeting and finshed my other duties came back to my desk went to grab my phone and head home when I went to unlock my screen I new something was wrong when the wallpaper had changed after it unlocked it brought me into the first set up. I skipped through it and found it had wiped everything. But did not touch my SD card. My phone is password protected not patterned protected and when u go to do a factory reset it prompts u to input your password so I know none of my coworkers did this is three any way Google or Verizon' could have done a remote wipe. Im at a loss of what could have caused this all I know is I have 600 apps to re download and a lot of birds to fling. Any insight would be appreciated

Damn dude. That sucks.

Maybe the Bolt said "I can take this **** anymore" ...you know, all the apps. Kidding... kidding...

Was My Backup Pro one of them?

It a update file that you use to update the device, to install updates you have to name it to this and save on root and install through hboot. If you leave on card some reported it could be accidentally installed that can wipe the device data.

I'm very interested in this thread. Hope u discover the cause. You are backed up though right? That's one of the biggest advantages.of rooting. (i need w bigger space bar - keep hitting period when I mean to hit space).
