If anyone is disappointed with a USB-C cable then it's their own fault for expecting too much. HTC said it would be a "small token of appreciation". A free $20 cable is definitely something I appreciate and it's a $20+ship gift that no phone maker has ever sent me AFTER I bought the phone. So, I'm happy.

Had I bought my phone from HTC I would be thrilled with an extra cable. I needed one for my car and ordered one from HTC as Sprint had absolutely zero accessories. After taxes and shipping it was almost $31.00! I'll take that "small gift" any day.

I ordered a 10 with the camera offer yesterday, but plan on selling the RE. I know I should post it in the marketplace forum, but l thought I'd mention it here if anyone is interested.

They gave the pre-order crowd a $100 off, I can't imagine them rebuilding their business if they gave away a $100 camera on top of that. Not that I would have minded an RE camera! But, no way would I expect them to say, "Hey, since you bought that discounted phone last month, why don't we give you this $100 camera too."

Agreed. I like my $100 off. It made the phone $100 more acceptable to my wife...
