tell yourself that undervolting won't shorten your device life, that's cool. tell yourself that getting bootlooped while undervolting can't happen, that's cool. most of the "performance" increase you see is mental because you're inspecting it.
I've done it, didn't improve battery life, didn't see performance increase, but did experience problems coming back out of standby, but didn't bootloop. It's classical computing knowledge that undervoltage in general will decrease device life because of the strain you are putting on them.
You think Moto engineers didn't try running at your undervolting settings to save power. This wasn't overlooked, their voltage was chosen for a reason. Pretty sure they put a lot more time and money into researching it than any individual has.
