Gingerbread Camera Issues

So I updated to GB earlier this week... Now when I launch my camera it freezes, same with the Videocamera. Phone is not rooted... Any suggestions?

Try clearing data from Settings / Applications / Manage Applications / All Tab and Camera and if that don't work try clearing data from Settings / Applications / Manage Applications / All Tab and Media Storage

This happened to me on one of the leaks. Ended up sbfing back to froyo and it fixed the issue so I knew it wasn't the camera. Come to find out it was the last video I took some how didn't save correctly and got corrupted. When the camera or camcorder app opened, it tried to load that little preview in the bottom left for the gallery, freezing the camera. Try deleting the last video or picture you took. Hope this helps.
