Pretty sure the article said the update will go to Business Clients first, whatever that means. Who knows when the "others", meaning the vast majority of users will start seeing any update.

How did you ever find out? He's been the most verbal as of late.

I also have one of those friends of a friend whos brother is supposidly in the know, but we know how well those roumers go. What I'm hearing third hand from him jives with @P3Droid is tweeting for the most part.

Coming from a Fascinate, rumors of Gingerbread this early in the game are like having Christmas 9 months early. I'm just excited the Droid X looks like it WILL be getting Gingerbread, especially when the Fascinate STILL does not have froyo.

Any idea of how Launcher Pro Plus will/will not work with Gingerbread? After Froyo, I had to uninstall and re-install LPP, which solved the spontaneous forced closes that were happening all too frequently.

You'll know soon enough. Lots of people -- including me -- are currently downloading Gingerbread from TBH. Personally, though, I may want to try the stock launcher for a bit just to see what it's like.
