Gingerbread on DINC

I have been running GB v4 all day and beside the GPS I'm pretty happy, its a nice break from Sense which I love but change is good. I was able to run quadrant once and had a score in the 1300 a little less then I was getting on Myn's RLS4. The second time I tried the phone froze and had to pull the battery.

Update - after the second try phone would come back on had to restore from a backup anyone have this problem or here anything about it.

I haven't had any issues at all. I have rebooted a bunch of times. We will see what happens.

what is the differnece between running the sense vs asop ? havent flashed a asop rom yet but was wanting to try .

Its pure android. No extra ui fluff. So its faster them sense but to some not as pretty.

Upstreammiami have you tried that Rom?

I was looking at thread today and didn't think there was that much of a difference between GB & GRH55.

I have been using GB for a day now without to many problems. I can't get Weatherbug to load and LP has a few freeze ups but it's very stable on stock launcher.

Looks like there has been some updates to this rom on XDA.. MMS has been fixed but looks like Video Recorder and LED lights are still no go. Here is the link:

And still some apps might not work, but maybe they get that fixed in the next release looks kinda cool ha keeping an eye on it

we all need to understand that many apps have not been updated to run on gingerbread. Be patient, they will be updated...

Yep...I was coding with him all night last night and all day today...all I can say is that it will be gingerbread on roids

I tried the new version last night and all i got was a bunch of FC's with market and gmail.. I will wait until the next release and try again... anyone else have issues?
