Gingerbread ROM for Captivate?

Is there a good, relatively stock 2.3 ROM out there for captivate? I would love to just use CM 7 here but I have read there are some problems with it on the captivate (probably partially because it isn't an official release/they don't officially support the Galaxy S phones yet). I'm a relative newbie to the ROM flashing game, so I dont really want to be messing around with the issues i've read about with a CM 7 port or the Nexus S system port. Any advice?

No, the only game in town is CM7. They are still only at an alpha level of build, so it is only going to get better. But until whatever remaining bugs that are holding you up are resolved, still time to get flash happy elsewhere .

The MIUI Beta is now Gingerbread, too. Looks pretty stable to me.

I thought MIUI was just a re-skinned CM7, so didn't think it could offer any more in the line of bug fixes.

Serendipity 6.2 is stable and works extremely well. It's froyo, but it's themed like Gingerbread, so it's about as close as you can get to gingerbread without CM7.

I've been playing with CM7 for a day or so, and to be honest, there's nothing wrong with it besides the battery life (which isn't completely terrible so far). I've yet to run into something that doesn't work. Now that they have kernels with BLN/Voodoo sound, I'm pretty much sold.
