Gingerbread shift deck

I am losing my mind right now. I want a camera shutter sound but I cannot find the option to turn it on anywhere. My phone is not on silent, so I should be hearing g it, but no luck. Its a pain to turn my phone around to actually see if a picture was taken. Help?

Open camera>settings>scroll down to Shutter Sound> check the box. That should do it. You may want to edit your other settings while you're in there, too.

That option does not exist, all i have is: Volume button Shutter, Search Button Shutter, Volume Button Zoom, and focus

Check to see if /system/media/audio/ui/camera_click.ogg exists.

Open Camera>Menu>Settings>scroll to Shutter sound>check the box to turn on.

That's on Sense ROMs.. I believe he's running the Shift Deck ROM, which doesn't have that option. I'm running the same ROM but my shutter sound works fine.

i searched, and i found camera_click.bak, should there be both an "ogg" and a "bak" or just one? if so i can rename and it should work right?

edit: belay my last, i went and renamed it anyway lol. i tried to take a pic and SNAP! i got sound back. im not sure as to how this happened to begin with, but im happy now. thanks for the hint.
