Hi I'd like to download gingerbread 2.3 operating system for android. told that this site has the gingerbread. where can I find the gingerbread download?

It's not that simple. What device are you downloading it for? There isn't a generic Gingerbread, each build is device specific. Also, unless your device is rooted, you're not going to be able to install it. If what I'm saying sounds confusing, then you're in way over your head. Take some time to do some research and learn about rooting and flashing ROMs. We're willing to help, but you have to meet us halfway.

Yes I do need help. I know a little bit about rooting however I do not have my own computer. I guess I cannot download from my phone . I have a LG optimistic ?2. I just learned about kernels. So I need to read some more.
