Glass Screen Protector that works

Yeah curved screen not many options that work
I'm much happier since I removed my Zagg and have gone bare. Not only does the fp reader work well but this screen really repells fingerprints. I couldn't keep the flex glass Zagg clean. I will be broken hearted when I scratch it but available screen protectors are unacceptable for me.

I wonder how the Samsung film works w fp reader and smudge repellent?

From my experience Samsung film worked great just not enough protection if dropped, you using Zagg film?

I ripped it off. It was nice and thick and offered decent protection but always filthy and fp reader only worked about 60% of the time. Basically set $70 on fire. The glass screen on my phone has the best oleophobic coating I have ever had.

Oh :(
I never had a chance to play with the screen long enough without screen protector as my work hands would surely damage it quickly from working on cars with gasoline, oil, grease, chemicals...

I must have naturally oily fingers because after using the screen for an hour w Zagg on it's filthy.

Which screen protector do you use? How is it with fp and smudges?

I use White Stone Dome glass protector it does get smudge up but a quick wipe its good for little bit

I'm using the LK TPU Screen Protector with Tempered Glass Camera Lens Protector, TPU Full Coverage 3D Curved Screen Film. Comes with a lifetime warranty. So far so good after 2 weeks. Cost is $10.19 CAD for 2 sets. 81FGgtC9D4L._AC_SX466_.jpg

I have been using this tpu screen protector no issue with fps. Does come three film and 3 camera protector
But I prefer single covers Screenshot_20220422-152855_Amazon%20Shopping.jpgScreenshot_20220422-152921_Amazon%20Shopping.jpg

So the FP sensor works well with this brand? My husband ordered a glass screen protector off Amazon not sure of the brand but I read reviews and lots said it didn't work with fps even though it advertised as working. I always like Zagg and ever since curved screens my husband isn't the biggest fan of Zagg but I like going to the Kiosk at the mall and they put it on and if I need it replaced I pay 10 bucks for a new one put on. My one now if called Glass Fusion I think and it was like 40 bucks or so. I can't see paying 70. And my screen is always dirty too I always have to wipe it off.

I've recently installed 4 WhiteStone Dome Glass protectors on 4 different S22U's and they've all come out cosmetically and functionally perfect with the FPRs working well on all devices. Prior to the S22U's I installed WS Dome on an Note 20 Ultra and Note 10+. My installations/results have improved and that may be improved product, more experience on my part, or most likely, a combination of the two.

WhiteStone Dome all the way for me. It's worth the money, IMO.

Not sure if this fits here, but I got the Samsung one as one of my bonus accessories and it is awesome. The application process was great and you can't even tell there is one on the phone.

Most the name brand film should do the job with fingerprint

I’ve just preferred using TPU then deal with the curved screen so on Note 8, 20u and now the S22U I’ve been happy with the Spigen NeoFlex. Lol, STILL haven’t powered on the phone yet but finally had some time to install the Spigen at work and clean install. I don't wanna power it on until I really have a block of time to setting up the phone. Much more difficult to set it all up compared to just restoring a saved cloud backup from your older iPhone.

My favorite has been the Samsung supplied plastic protector shown on my N20U when I got the screen replaced. But just started lifting the corner so timely about to move on to the new phone.

In past phones you give it a few days for it to cure after you apply and noticed on my N20U if you give it much more time like weeks to really tighten up and harden around the glass before using the pen the it doesn't leave pen marks on the screen.

We have this deal where if you buy through paypal we can use our Wells Fargo reward points. Well the Zagg Kiosk only had the more expensive protector which has blue light and I read on Zaggs website more for gamers but he offered me 20% off Zagg is out. Turns out Best Buy had the one that was 10$ cheaper and the price was $10 cheaper than Zagg. So I got to order it using our reward points and it was $49.99 I got it free. I hope I like it and the pen will work good with it on. I know Best Buy puts them on for $7.99 but the Zagg Kiosk said I could some there for 10 and bring it back there whenever I needed a replacement instead of going through Best Buy and having to send back to Zagg and wait for another to come in the mail and pay for shipping. So I hope I like it and fingerprint works well with it like what I have now it does. I've had this Zagg replaced once or twice already on my 21U and for 10 bucks and they professionally put it on I just like it.

And I was just going to say now if only Fed-Ex would get here and I'll be darn they pulled up just now so I can finally leave.

Using whitestone dome on both S22s, both tempered protectors did their jobs and have been replaced. No problems with fingerprint reader. A little smuggie at times but no real complaints. Will add oleophobic coating from time to time to address smudges.

Interesting. How do you apply it and what product do you use?

I tried the amFilm Glas Protector with UV curing, Installation was flawless. It looks good, feels better than plastic (in my opinion) and there are 3 glasses in the box. That means if You have to install it new You don't have to buy the installation kit and the UV lamp again. The FPS works good, sometimes I have to try a second time, but it's acceptable for me ;)
