Glitch in TMobile LG G@

I bought a G2 phone about 2 weeks ago. Everything was great, then the text messaging notifications stopped working. I am able to receive texts, but no pop up, no sound and no blinking light.
I called TMobile who directed my call to LG, who told me it was a glitch and to return it to Tmobile.
I was able to get a new phone, but the 2nd phone did the same thing. I'm on my 3rd phone and it just happened again after 2 days.

Anyone else having this issue? I had T Mobile reset my phone on their end, my end, doing a hard reset, check the volumes etc etc....

That sounds like a really peculiar problem, I've had my LG G2 for 2 weeks now and haven't had any issues like that. Check notification system settings? Message app settings?

No, I haven't had that problem either.
You might check some of the apps you have installed to see if they have permission to receive or edit sms messages.
Maybe you have a spyware app installed.

I have Lookout installed --- maybe that's the issue?
But my first phone worked great for 2 weeks and then the texts stop working.
