Global or CDMA

Our phones come factory set to the global radio but would it be better to change that setting to CDMA/LTE? Would that give the best signal or is it ok just to leave it alone?

I've heard of a couple differences between the two. For starters, that global mode drains more battery than cdma/lte. Global mode is mainly used if you want to leave the US since it activates the gsm radios as well, hence he battery drain. Although, I have heard claims of people having faster connection times when in global mode, and that when in global the DNA is able to use gsm towers for roaming capabilities. Hence more coverage
