Gmail account with ATT carrier

Brand new S7 Edge using ATT. My Gmail account does not update automatically with new emails. I have pull down to load new emails. Is this ATT or Gmail settings problem?

you're having the same Gmail sync issue everyone else is having.

it has nothing to do with either your Gmail app settings or AT&T.

Mine was doing that until I disabled and re-enabled auto sync
