Gmail app not sending email

When I hit send nothing happens. It worked fine yesterday. I deleted data and resynced, still no go.

I can send just fine with K9 so its a gmail app issue I guess.

I was having a different issue with Gmail. Sounds like there is a glitch somewhere. While the phone is on remove the battery and the SIM card for about 5 seconds. Put back on and power up. I start small with solutions before the big one which would be a factory reset.....and I had to do that. Do the battery pull and SIM card pull first.

I found the solution. I had started using the app "seal" apparently if you allow the app root permission it conflicts with the gmail app. All is well...
