Gmail automatically sending empty replies

Hi,

I have a Samsung A3 running on Kitkat. In the last couple of days gmail has been automatically replying to any email I received in my inbox with an empty reply. I've tried clearing the cache and uninstalling/re-installing the app to no avail. Can anyone offer a solution? Thanks! Dan

Go to Gmail settings and make sure that vacation responder is off.
