Today when I logged into gmail on my computer, I got a message at the top in red saying my account may have been accessed by an unauthorized source and advising me to change my password immediately. The IP address was listed and I looked it up...MOTOBLUR. This makes me nervous. Does anyone know why this happened?
This is from the "Details" area of gmail:

sheesh...that was your phone checking your email. their used to see you coming from your PC, and now there's a 2nd device.

Dude as soon as you saw Motorola as the owner of the address something should have sparked something.

Thats weird ! But even if you changed your password ,I wonder how it was able to hack into your gmail account in the first place ?And what would stop if from repeating ?

I saw that too, but figured it was because I accessed my calendar through the browser on my X--which required me to sign in.

And July 21 would be the date that you registered your Gmail account name and password on your Droid X, right? I was startled a bit when I got the same message with the same IP address on July 16, but concluded it was my first use of the signon on the X, especially since it indicated Motorola. If you change your password, you will have to re-register it on the X, and generate the same message again, I believe. I think this is a non-issue, personally.

No to phone checking email - It shows as mobile and another IP
Mobile United States (FL) 10:33 (41 minutes ago)
No to the 21st being the first time I used the X
No - haven't used the calendar

now, or at the time? your mobile IP is gonna change all the time...

It only shows once. All access by the DX into my gmail shows as "Mobile" and the IP goes to Verizon. The IP I gave above goes to MotoBlur. I just wonder why MotoBlur accessed my gmail account??
