Gmail Exchange ActiveSync constantly syncing

I have my gmail set up on my DInc2 through the HTC mail Exchange ActiveSync instead of the gmail app. For the past few days it has been working great but today I noticed that it is always syncing. I have tried a battery pull with no results. Has anyone else seen this problem?

Also, what should I have my "mail size limit" set at?

I have mine set at maximum limit with no issues.
