Gmail Issue on 2.1

My gmail seems to only like to push during certain hours of the day, I have made sure it is set to sync, and my gmail still only pushes at certain times, it works fine on wifi, and on cellular, but some time it wont get my emails unless i manually refresh it.

anyone have any ideas how to fix it?

I've had this issue the whole time I've had my Droid, since release day and Android 2.0. It wasn't fixed in 2.0.1 or 2.1. Sometimes my e-mails get pushed as soon as they are sent from the sender and sometimes I don't get them until 3 hours after. I just check the timestamp and then I can tell. It's frustrating but sadly I've gotten used to it. I hope it's fixed in 2.2.

Looks like this is something I will have to get used to it, even though its utter B.S. since this feature works for everyone else.

I have the exact same problem. It is driving me crazy.
