gmail issues?

anyone having gmail issues with the stock email app? (HTC mail)

all of the sudden it says can not authenticate username/password

it is typed in correct, i can access through gmail app no problem.

i have deleted and tried numerous times.

any suggestions?

I don't have any experience using the HTC Mail app but would try clearing data/cache in the application settings may help. If that doesn't work I'm not sure what you can do, sorry

i dont understand why it would just stop working, that is my main account, it works fine for everything else

Are you rooted?

I don't use the GMAIL app anymore. I just use the MAIL app and I have all my accounts linked to that. This way when I refresh/check my email, all my accounts are refreshed. I have YAHOO, GMAIL and COMCAST all refreshing.

i am not rooted and i have/had the exact 3 same email acccounts syncing and now the gmail just stopped

From my experience, almost all mail servers will do this sort of hiccup occasionally. Often producing an error about invalid logon credentials, when that is not really the issue at all and the issue is on the mail server side.

I'd just wait it out.
