gmail lag

Seem to have 4 minute lag on gmail. Was much quicker on the old crackberry.

Interesting. Mine is instant .... as in just as fast as it was on my BB Storm 2.

Yeah, this seems to vary. With mine I get the app notification before the email shows up in my browser at least 9 times out of 10.

Maybe an obvious question, but are you using the actual Gmail application or the mail application that also comes with the phone? I've tried both and the mail application has a lag of a few minutes. Gmail is instant.

gmail app 2 minutes next morning now back to about 3 sec strange must have been network

I've done both the HTC mail app and the integrated Gmail and the Gmail seems to come faster with the integrated Gmail.
