I did a quick search and couldn't find anything like this, so excuse me if I missed it.

I was wondering how you get notifications for mail that gets sent to a folder other than the inbox?

I get notifications for mail that comes into my inbox for both the gmail app and the mail app built into sense. Just to further explain my situation (in case it is still not clear), lets say I get an email from tigerdirect. I set up a folder so those emails get filtered there. But when a tigerdirect email comes in, the phone does not notify me.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

On my Dinc, I still get notified and if you click all accounts it will show a bold number next to the acct.

Just hit labels and you will see where the email is....

thats not what i am asking for. i can find the emails, but my phone is not notifying me when i get an email that doesnt go to my inbox and is filtered to another folder.

anyone know what to do so i can get a notification for all my emails?

i am having the same problem - it will not notify you if you have a message sent to one of your labels. The only way of finding out is by checking the label manually which should not be the case.

Anyone know what to do? It is not like I am getting important emails, but it would be nice to be notified when I get them.

Being that I did not get any info here, I contacted HTC and they told me this...
As for your emails, the device is not programmed to notify you of sub-folders that have received emails. The device will only notify you of emails that come through your inbox.
So there you have it. For some reason, it is not possible. I did reply back and ask if there will be an update to fix this, but I am going to assume they won't change this. If they say that they can/will, I will let you know.

Not an HTC issue, it's an OS issue.
Why not keep them in your inbox and have them auto labeled?
Then you can hit archive and it will move them?
