Gmail not automatically syncing lately

Is anyone else having a problem with Gmail & google calendar not automatically syncing lately? I checked my settings & everything seems to be fine but nada, I still have to hit refresh to sync.

I was having the same thing. I pulled up the Android Power Control widget and noticed the sync wasn't on. Turned that on and now works fine.

I think I accidentally turned off auto sync when I was playing with the power control widget. I was wondering what that second to last icon was but now I know.
