Gmail not syncing? only after battery pull.

I am not getting any gmails account emails sent to my phone. When i pull the battery, and after the restart I get the last couple of days emails.

Any ideas?

That has happened to me on my Eris as well. It goes through stages where it will go that and where it will work perfectly.
