Has anybody delt with Gmail not syncing? I've had this problem several times before, but I was wondering if anybody else has had it or if there is anything I can do to stop it. Today I went to my computer to check my email and had 12 emails, however my phone received none of them throughout the day. I then went to my phone and tried to hit the manual sync button however even that would not work, it kept saying last sync was done at 1:14PM and its past 9 at night. I eventually restarted the phone which helped fix the problem. But is there any fixes for this issue? And yes I do have push notifications on for Gmail and my phone is always in performance mode

Have you tried clearing the data under manage apps?

I had the same issue and finally solved it by turning back on settings>battery & data manager > data delivery > background data.
Make sure it's enabled as well as 'data enabled' box. When my folders didn't sync properly I fixed by clearing the cache, I think you have to sign in again but that re-syncs...

Yup, gmail Yahoo any email is an issue. Just keep trying it and it works after a day or two of trying. Good phone I must say.

How do you do that?

From the home screen, menu button>manage apps
Find your app, open, you'll find an option to clear cache.

I fixed mine (Droid X) by adding the Android Widget called Power Control to one of my screens and noticed the Sync/Data icon (two arrows going around in a circle) was not enabled. After enabling that, everything started working again. I spent two weeks with no sync, I checked and rechecked every setting and this one little button fixed everything.
