GMail problems?

My GMail is not sending mail.
All sent mail gets stuck in the outbox.
Doesn't matter whether I'm on 3G or Wifi.
It's been like that for hours..

I loaded the unsigned ota update through CWM earlier today.

Anyone else experiencing problems?
Advice?

I'm still having this problem.
Sometimes messages send immediately, other times they stick in the outbox and never send.
Any ideas?

Are you exiting gmail before the message sends? Mine did that, but staying on the message until "sending" disappeared stopped messages from not sending for me.

I did CWM earlier today as well. I just launched GMail, sent an email to my work address.. stayed in the app (not sure it makes a big difference), then hit F5 on PC and the email was there..

i've never had one "stuck" in Sending mode.... i've had them be slow, but usually after a single "refresh" everything's sent out or received as expected.

I know this wasn't helpful, just wanted to share that someone else who did CWM today doesn't appear to be having email sending problems.

I had a similar issue a few weeks ago, but then bluetooth wouldnt connect with my car so I just took it back to Verizon.

They gave me a new one and so far so good.

Exactly. Same thing is happening to me.
If I go into the outbox and cancel the message, then recompose the message it usually sends.
This seems to be a sporadic problem.

Just as an update here..
Gmail had performed flawlessly today.
I keep checking the outbox just to be sure though.
Maybe not a bad idea for others to do just incase it's a widespread issue.

I have noticed that my gmail won't ever send out video attachments, even if they are under the size restricting. Any message with a video file gets stuck in the outbox and never gets went no matter how long I wait.

Well..

I must have jinxed myself... over the last 2 days I've experienced this "email stuck in Sending... state 3 times". One was a simple 1-line email (more of a test for something else)... but it wouldn't ever leave the Sending state... The most recent is an email with a small text-file attachment. (41k small).

Did anyone have a great permanent fix for this? or are we stuck with the re-compose new message and hope it works .. ??
