Gmail wont sync on android

I've tried every step but still can't get my emails to sync.

It just keeps saying Sync is experiencing problems. When I then go into my email account, the page is just blank.

Any help would be great.

Are you using the Gmail app, or the stock Email app with your Gmail account added in?
